Protekt 500/600 Power Patient Lift
The Protekt Power Lift by Proactive Medical is a compact lift with a low base that has a bariatric lifting capacity. This lift can be used in small rooms with low beds and is ideal for both homecare and institutional settings. The Protekt Power lift comes standard with a 500 lbs weight capacity or you may choose to upgrade to the Protekt Power 600 HD, that boasts an impressive 600 lbs weight capacity.
What Makes This Different
The Protekt Power Patient Lift has a small footprint. When closed, the base is just 25.6" wide so it's easy to move through doorways and small spaces, yet the base expands to 44" wide when opened to fit around wheelchairs and other furniture as well as to provide excellent stability. The Protekt Power also has a low, 4.5" base height to easily fit underneath low beds so the user can be placed directly over the bed for safe and easy transfers. This lift also has an incredible lifting range (from 27.2" to 70.9") so it can lift patients from the floor in case of a fall, and lift the patient high enough to be placed safely on a bed. The Protekt Power Lift also features dual front casters for greater stability and better maneuverability, as well as a hand-operated base with a long, easy to use arm.
Why We Like It
We really like that the Protekt Power has a digital LCD lift control panel that displays the battery charge level and features an overload warning if the lift is reaching its weight capacity. In the event that the lift is overloaded, a buzzer will beep three times and then lifting will be automatically deactivated.
