The removable columns for your Inogen Rove 4 machine contain sieve filters that remove inert gases from the room air around you and help concentrate it into medical-grade oxygen. As a general rule of thumb, it is recommended that the columns be replaced every 12 to 18 months to ensure that your machine is producing the correct concentration of oxygen.
*Please note: Your Inogen Rove 4 machine may require you to replace the columns earlier than you would normally expect due to the varying operating conditions under which the Inogen Rove 4 can function. If you see a "Replace Columns” symbol appear on your concentrator’s display screen, it is letting you know that its columns need to be replaced.
